  • Awarded Girl Scout Honor Pin for increasing adult membership by 10 percent
  • Facilitate training on product sale materials with 60+ Troop Product Managers
  • Communicate with Troop Product Managers about product sale information via email, phone, social media, or in-person
  • Created Troop Leader accounts and kept accurate records of all orders, product delivery, and sale transactions on the e-commerce website.
  • Update social media page with upcoming events and sale information

  • Attend regularly scheduled meetings of the Service Unit.
  • Meet with the troop on a weekly or other agreed-upon but regular basis.
  • Helped girls take responsibility for the affairs of the troop.
  • Ensure that troop records (individual girl records, dues, attendance) are maintained and that troop reports are turned in to the Service Unit Manager as requested.
  • Communicate with each girl’s parent(s) or guardian(s) regarding upcoming events and troop information.
  • Encourage participation of people willing to share their skills and knowledge to enrich Girl Scouts.
  • To ensure the safety of girls while they participate in Girl Scout activities, review Safety Activity Checkpoints before each activity and familiarize yourself with Volunteer Essentials.
  • Be guided in all actions by the Girl Scout Mission, Promise, and Law.
  • Remain informed about and comply with the most current policies, procedures, and guidelines of Girl Scouts of Northwestern Great Lakes (GSNWGL and Girl Scouts of the USA (GSUSA).
  • Recognize that funding the organization is an integral part of service to girls and promote money-making and fundraising efforts, including Family Partnership and Council product sales.
